Change of registration details

There are a number of options available if you want to change the following registration details for an entity:

• entity name or trading name
• postal, email or business address
• authorised contact
• entity representative
• associates
• main business activity, or
• financial institution account details.

You can update your details:

• online via:
• the Australian Business Register at www.abr.gov.au or
• the Business Portal (or Tax Agent Portal). Information that can be updated via the portals includes postal, email, business addresses, contacts and financial institution details. Tax agents will need to ensure their tax agent number is recorded against the client’s record before they can update a client’s details.
  To update your details online you will need to register for a free digital certificate via online services.
• by phoning 13 28 66 between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday – you must be recorded by the Tax Office on the account for the entity, or
• by completing the form Change of registration details (NAT 2943).
  You can order a paper copy of this form:
• through online ordering or
• by phoning 1300 720 092 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  
  A PDF version of the form is available as a ‘sample only’. Do not print and submit this form as it cannot be processed by our systems. You must order and complete the paper copy provided by us.
