If you are a decision maker in a small to medium sized enterprise (SME) with a turnover of between $2 million and $250 million, we want to invite you to join and participate in our online community.

We are working with SMEs through this online community (or forum) to gain an understanding and appreciation of the issues you are facing. We identify opportunities to reduce the cost of compliance and improve our administration of the tax system.

We are keen for SMEs to take part in a variety of online activities to share their views and ideas to help us identify potential areas for improvement. Activities include discussions, survey, live chats with senior ATO managers and educational webinars that include online presentations from ATO experts on topics of interest to SMEs.

Member involvement is anonymous and being online makes participating easy and convenient.

The online forum is facilitated by Colmar Brunton Social Research on behalf of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) with participation from ATO staff.

You can join the SME community via the ATO Talking Tax Gateway which also hosts an online community for small and micro businesses - the ATO Online Small Business Forum. Find out if you are eligible to join by visiting www.ato-talkingtax.com.au
