Our reportable tax position (RTP) web page has been updated to include the reportable tax position early disclosure form and accompanying instructions.

Minor changes have been made from the previously published, draft early disclosure form.

We will make further updates to the RTP web page in early 2012 to provide further clarity on:

• the reportable tax position definitions
• examples of reportable tax position disclosures
• frequently asked questions.

The final version of the RTP schedule and the instructions to the schedule will be made available with Tax Time 2012 publications.
