International dealings schedule (IDS) 2012 now available

The International dealings schedule 2012 and the accompanying International dealings schedule instructions 2012 are now available.

The IDS 2012 replaces the Thin capitalisation schedule, Schedule 25A and IDS-Financial Services. It contains questions which better align with:

  • our risk management processes
  • taxpayer record-keeping and business systems
  • our projects, including standard business reporting.

Data on international transactions will be captured through the IDS 2012 and used to:

  • inform our international risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • target assistance
  • support compliance activities
  • reduce compliance costs.
