These instructions will help you complete your Application for a licence to store excisable products - fuel and petroleum products (NAT 7178, PDF, 444KB).

When to use this application

Use this application to apply for an excise licence to store fuel and petroleum products. If you are blending fuel and petroleum products in tanks (even to store) then you need to apply for a licence to manufacture excisable products.

For a complete list of fuel and petroleum products, refer to Excise tariff working pages (including current duty rates) and by-laws.

When we say 'you', we mean the person or entity applying to hold the licence.
