Getting excise back

In certain situations, you may be entitled to a refund, remission or drawback of excise duty.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to claim back excise that has been paid on the biodiesel - for example, when:

  • goods are damaged or have deteriorated underbond
  • duty-paid goods are returned to a licensed premises or exported.
