The Tax Office is the Government’s principal revenue collection agency. We manage and shape tax, excise and superannuation systems that fund services for Australians. We also support the delivery of community benefits with roles in private health insurance, family assistance and cross-agency support.

We are one of the largest public service employers in Australia with over 22,000 people located in more than 20 sites. We have a diverse workforce in terms of cultural backgrounds, demographics, skills and experience.
