Hitting the ground running
The SME Tax Forum has hit the ground running, providing thought provoking material for SMEs via new discussions and polls.
Kick starting activities was a live chat featuring our first guest for 2010, ATO Economist and SME expert, Marcus Chew.
Last year, Marcus participated in a chat that was one of the most provocative, entertaining and well-attended Forum events so far. This encore performance was equally energised with members vigorously discussing the factors that will make their businesses successful during the year ahead.
Marcus shared his own views on this subject and will bring the comments raised during the chat to the attention of relevant ATO managers and SME committees.
We are planning more webinars for Forum members. Our TOFA - Taxation of financial arrangements (stages 3 and 4) will be popular. We're also considering a Standard Business Reporting webinar.
