This induction package is for newly appointed treasurers, office bearers or employees involved in the administration of a non-profit organisation, such as a charity, club, society or association. It introduces you to the information and services we provide to assist you in your new role.

Existing non-profit administrators may also find the induction package useful, as it contains an overview of non-profit tax issues and provides links to non-profit information on our website.

Free email update service for non-profit organisations

You can phone our information line on 1300 130 248 from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday for help with matters specific to non-profit organisations. This includes information on the endorsement process for charities and deductible gift recipients, income tax, goods and services tax and fringe benefits tax concessions for non-profit organisations.
