PAYG withholding where ABN not quoted - annual report

You should complete this form when reporting amounts that are withheld from a supplier that does not quote their Australian business number (ABN). Note that you are required to complete details of each payee from which you have withheld amounts.

Therefore, you are not required to include copies of payment summaries with this annual report when lodging it. These should be kept for your records.

From 1 July 2012, if you are a business in the building and construction industry, you need to report to us the total payments you make to each contractor for building and construction services each year. These payments are reported to us on the Taxable payments annual report. You can report the amounts withheld from payments made to contractors that did not quote an ABN during the financial year in this report. Payments reported in the Taxable payments annual report must not be included in the PAYG withholding where ABN not quoted - annual report (NAT 3448).

The Taxable payments annual report is due 21 July each year.
