Fraud Prevention and Internal Investigations is a dedicated fraud prevention and control unit which investigates allegations made against ATO staff of fraud and corruption.

If you suspect or are aware of any fraudulent activity by ATO staff, let us know.

Any information you provide will help ensure the integrity of the ATO.

You can report suspicions of internal fraud and corruption by sending us an email or contacting a staff member in Fraud Prevention and Internal Investigations.

You may be reluctant to report fraudulent activity, particularly where ATO staff are involved, but be assured that any reports are treated as strictly confidential.

The ATO is committed to promoting and maintaining a values-based organisation. The role of Fraud Prevention and Internal Investigations is to create and foster ethical behaviours, encourage integrity and minimise corruption with our employees by providing fraud prevention and investigation services.
