4.2 Management arrangements

Tax Office management arrangements describe our structural arrangements, including the ATO Executive, sub-plan executives, corporate committees and forums, and secretariat services. Our management arrangements continually evolve to enable us to respond to our changing environment and the demands placed on us by:

  • establishing strategic priorities for the organisation, ensuring that we take a whole of revenue system view, not just a Tax Office view
  • structuring our work so that we best match our skills, expertise and knowledge with a particular taxpayer base and/or risk
  • working in a coordinated and collaborative way across the organisation, and
  • assuring ourselves that we are not only delivering on our outcome but also working in a way that is consistent with APS values.

Our planning and governance arrangements are shown in 'Our planning and governance arrangements figure 4.1.
