Minimum computer requirements

The following information lists the minimum computer requirements using Windows or Macintosh. The portal has not been tested with Linux or with any other operating system.

When you apply for a digital certificate you will receive a copy of the Tax Office online services set-up CD. This will check your configuration. It also provides copies of the supported browsers and the Sun JVM.

select the Start menu

select Programs

select CSI

select CSI Management Utility, and

select About tab.

open the Applications folder

open the CSI folder

open the CSI Management Utility, and

select About tab.

How to update your common-use signing interface (CSI) and Java version

We recommend you have Java 1.4.2_10 or 1.5.0_06 or later installed. If you have an earlier version, it is important that you read the Sun JavaTM security update page.

Download the latest CSI version and Java from the CSI website.
