SuperSeeker

Data in the Lost Members Register has now been refreshed. Data is updated regularly so we recommend you conduct a search for your lost super periodically.

Overview

SuperSeeker is a tool that will help you look for your lost super in real time and provide you with a list of possible matches.

It is free to use and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To use SuperSeeker online you will need your tax file number (TFN).

Search

Online

Using SuperSeeker online is quick and easy. Your search can be completed in a couple of minutes.

  1. Begin your SuperSeeker search online.
    Important privacy information will be displayed. Read this information and agree to the privacy disclaimer before continuing your search.
     
  2. Fill out your personal details, including your:
    • TFN
    • family and given names, and
    • date of birth.
  3. Select Submit - SuperSeeker will then begin your search.

If there is a possible match:

  1. Your results will be shown.
     
  2. Contact your super fund to talk about what to do with your lost super.

By phone

Using SuperSeeker on the phone is quick and easy.

You will get the same results whether you search by phone, online or by completing a form.

  1. Phone the SuperSeeker self-help line on 13 28 65.
    We will give you important privacy information.
     
  2. We will ask you to select from a range of topics. For SuperSeeker, select option1 and then option2.
     
  3. We will ask for your:
    • TFN
    • date of birth.

If there is a possible match:

  1. We will tell you the results and provide you with the name of the super fund and their contact number.
    Make sure you have paper and a pen ready.
     
  2. Contact your super fund to talk about what to do with your lost super.

By paper

Searching using our form will take longer than searching by phone or online but the results will be the same.

  1. Download and complete Searching for lost super form (NAT 2476, PDF, 137KB).
     
  2. When you fill in the form you will be requested to provide your:
    • TFN
    • personal details
    • contact details.

If there is a possible match:

  1. We will write to you with the results and provide you with the name of the super fund and their contact number.
     
  2. Contact your super fund to talk about what to do with your lost super.
