Definitions

For the purposes of this publication, when we say:

• family law obligations, we are referring to binding financial agreements or court orders made under the Family Law Act 1975
• former spouse of a first home saver account (FHSA) holder, we are referring to a person who is any of the following
• married to but separated from the account holder
• divorced from a first home saver account holder
• the same or opposite sex as the account holder and lived with them on a genuine domestic basis as a couple but the relationship has broken down.
