Baby bonus calculator

This calculator estimates the baby bonus tax offset claimed through the ATO for a child who was under five years old on 1 July 2009 and was born on or after 1 July 2001 and before 1 July 2004.

The last claim year for the baby bonus is the 2008-09 income year. However, you have until 30 June 2014 to lodge your baby bonus claim for 2009 and prior income years.

The Family Assistance Office (FAO) has a separate payment previously called 'Maternity Payment' but is now also called 'Baby Bonus'. This payment has different rules, is a one-off lump sum and separate to the ATO baby bonus tax offset. For further information contact the FAO.
