Paying from overseas
BPAY
If you have an Australian bank account, you can use your financial institution's phone or internet banking service to make your payment from your cheque or savings account.

Your payment needs to reach us on or before its due date - check your financial institution's processing deadlines to avoid making a late payment.

Credit card
To pay by credit card, you require a current Visa, MasterCard or American Express card. Payments from overseas can only be made using the online service.

Your payment needs to reach us on or before its due date. You should consider international time zones when making your payment. Transactions entered on a weekend, Australian national public holiday or after 6pm Sydney time will be processed on the next business day.
Direct credit through SWIFT
You can transfer your payment to us through SWIFT. Contact your overseas financial institution for advice on how to make your payment.

The payment must be sent in Australian dollars.
Bank handling and exchange fees are generally automatically deducted from the exchanged value of the payment, at both the overseas bank and their companion bank in Australia, before being forwarded to us. You should make allowance for these fees when arranging your payment.
Mail
Mail a bank draft to us in Australian currency.
You should also include your payment slip or a note that states your:
- full name
- address and telephone number
- account identifier - for example, tax file number (TFN), Australian business number (ABN) or client identification number
- payment type - for example, BAS payment, income tax or HELP.
