Non-Profit News Service No. 0360 - ACNC Taskforce: community consultations and Facebook page

The Australian Government is committed to consulting with the community at every stage of its not-for-profit (NFP) reform process. An important component of this commitment is the establishment of a Facebook page for the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Taskforce to complement existing communication channels, including the taskforce's website and YouTube channel.

The community consultations are being held in capital cities and Townsville from 30 January to 13 February 2012. The taskforce's Facebook page provides people living in rural and remote areas with an opportunity to engage with the taskforce on the implementation and design of the new charity regulator.
