Non-Profit News Service No. 0376 - Released: GST ruling about the GST treatment of financial assistance payments

We have published Goods and Services Tax Ruling GSTR 2012/2 Goods and services tax: financial assistance payments, which provides the Commissioner's view about the way the GST law applies in relation to financial assistance payments, including government grants.

This ruling replaces GSTR 2000/11 - Goods and services tax: grants of financial assistance.
