Is a gift fund maintained for an organisation or part of an organisation?

The gift fund must be maintained for the fund, authority or institution that the organisation operates.

For example, a school operates a public library. The school is an organisation. The school would apply for endorsement for its public library. The school must maintain a gift fund for the library. A fund that receives all gifts to the school will not satisfy the gift fund requirement.
