Not be an ACNC type of entity

If your school building fund is not an entity and a charity, it must 'not be an ACNC type of entity'.

The term 'not be an ACNC type of entity' covers:

• entities that are not charities
• funds, authorities and institutions that are not entities.

Example

A state high school's parents and friends association is seeking DGR endorsement for the operation of a school building fund it owns or includes. There is no ACNC registration requirement for the fund and so the fund would 'not be an ACNC type of entity'.
