Receipts

The ATO does not automatically issue receipts, but they can be issued on request.

Your request will need to include:

  • the date of payment
  • the amount paid
  • the EFT code or PRN that appears on your ATO statement.

Request a receipt:

  • phone 1800 815 886, 8.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • email payment@ato.gov.au, or
  • mail - include a written request with your mail payment
