Overview

The electronic commerce interface (ECI) is a software application developed to perform the following functions online:

  • lodging tax file number (TFN) declaration reports
  • lodging pay as you go (PAYG) withholding annual reports, including:
    • PAYG withholding payment summary annual report
    • PAYG withholding where ABN not quoted annual report
    • PAYG withholding annual report – payments to foreign residents
    • Departing Australia superannuation payments (DASP) annual report
  • lodging or collecting investment body reports, including:
    • Annual investment income report
    • Quarterly tax file number report
  • lodging superannuation reports, including:
    • Assessment variation advice
    • Lost members statement
    • Lost member search
    • Member contribution statement
    • Member exit statement
    • Payment variation advice
    • Reasonable benefit limits
    • Supermatch request
    • Unclaimed superannuation money statement
  • collecting superannuation reports, including:
    • Lost member search result
    • Reasonable benefit limits
    • Remittance advice and recovery notice
    • Supermatch response
    • Surcharge provider assessment details
  • lodging excise fuel grants scheme claims, including:
    • forms for the energy grants credits scheme, and product stewardship for oil program
    • multiple activity statements on behalf of others (bookkeepers, BAS service providers and large businesses only)
  • lodging first home saver accounts reports, including:
    • First home saver account activity report
    • First home saver account payment variation advice
  • collecting first home saver account reports, including:
    • Remittance advice and recovery notice
    • Outcome of lodgment report.

Attention icon

If you are not a bookkeeper, large corporate entity or BAS service provider, you should use the Business Portal to lodge activity statements.
