Tax Office Media Relations assists journalists and media representatives seeking to prepare balanced reports about the Tax Office and its activities.

The law prevents Tax Office employees from commenting on or providing information about taxpayers.

Media Relations treats all enquirers courteously and expects people to be reasonable and courteous in their requests.

Generally opinion writers, commentators, bloggers and others should seek Tax Office information through alternative channels such as our web site, consultative forums, industry partnerships and normal correspondence channels.
