When removing a client from your client list, you can also update their client mailing address to ensure you no longer receive their mail.

Where to start

Once you have logged into the portal:

  • enter your client's Australian business number (ABN) or tax file number (TFN) on the homepage under 'Your clients'
  • select 'Authorisation summary' from the drop-down menu.

You can also find your client using the directory.

Update your client's address

When removing a client, you can update their address for:

  • all roles - if you no longer represent them for any obligation type
  • selected roles - if you no longer represent them for one or more particular roles.

You can select one of the following options for each role:

  • Correct - if your client's postal address is to remain the same
  • Unknown - if you don't know your client's postal address
  • Update - to provide your client's last known postal address.

After you finish

Removing a client using the portal will update their records immediately.

You will receive a reference number when you submit the request and you can print a confirmation for your records.
