Lodge tax file number (TFN) declaration reports

TFN declaration report files created using your payroll software can be submitted online. Report files sent this way are automatically checked, and if there are no errors, you receive an immediate confirmation receipt.

Requirements

You need:

• an Australian business number (ABN)
• an AUSkey
• Electronic Commerce Interface (ECI) software.

Accessing this online service

Once you have an AUSkey and installed the ECI software:

• Windows users- select Start, Programs, Electronic Commerce Interface and then ECI Client V5.
• Mac users- select the ECI Client V5 icon in the location where you have it saved.
