By phone

Phone us on 13 28 66 between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Not all details can be changed over the phone. You must be recorded by us as an authorised contact for the entity.

Through a registered agent

Talk to your registered agent (tax agent or BAS agent) about updating the details for your super entity.

A registered agent (tax or BAS agent) for your super entity will need to ensure their registration number is recorded against your super entity's record before they can update your super entity's details.

Danger icon

When updating your super entity's details in the ABR or with the ATO it is important that the information you provide is true and correct.

Making a false or misleading statement to the ABR or ATO may result in a penalty. However, if you made a mistake and we consider that you took reasonable care, a penalty will not apply.

The penalty may also be reduced to nil if you make a voluntary disclosure about the statement before you are contacted by the ABR or ATO.

For more information on the penalty and voluntary disclosure, refer to Penalties for false or misleading statements made to the Australian Business Register.
