Warning: This information may not apply to the current year. Check the content carefully to ensure it is applicable to your circumstances.

You must use one of the following methods if you are either:

  • lodging a late member contributions statement (MCS) for contributions made in the 2006-07 or earlier financial years
  • amending an MCS previously lodged for the 2006-07 or earlier financial years.
  1. If your fund has fewer than 100 members and you lodge fewer than 20 MCS each year for the fund, you may lodge on paper using the Superannuation member contributions statement (NAT 2710). Refer also to How to complete the Superannuation member contributions statement (NAT 2603).
  2. In all other cases, for both amendments and late lodgments, you are required to report contributions electronically using the current version of the MCS electronic reporting specifications. You use these specifications for electronic amendments and lodgments you make for any financial year.
