You can prepare your application before you depart Australia

You can only apply for your DASP once you have left Australia and your visa has expired or been cancelled.

However you can prepare your online application before you leave Australia. Just don't submit it before you depart Australia!

Sections of the form you can complete before you leave Australia include;

personal details - your name and date of birth
email address
passport country and number
Australian tax file number (TFN). You are not required to provide your TFN. However, if you provide your TFN, it will help to identify super accounts you hold.

Once you provide this information, we will search for your super money.

Your information is used to confirm who you are, find your super money and pay it to you.

Make sure you correctly provide all the information required. Otherwise your payment will be delayed.
