Andrew Dadswell - ASIC

ASIC has continued to work on the government's MoneySmart website and there have been some changes to the retirement planner.

Blake Briggs - FSC

Blake advised he was new to his role at the Financial Services Council and is looking forward to working with the sub-committee into the future.

Michael Perry - Superannuation Australia

Superannuation Australia recently widened their messaging to members to help them avoid superannuation 'traps', such as the bring forward provision for excess contributions tax. This was part of a new, dedicated publication Superannuation Australia sent to its members on a quarterly basis. The publication is available both in print and electronic format.

Dick Grozier - NSW Business Chamber of Commerce

The NSW Business Chamber of Commerce is continuing to foster awareness of Stronger Super and were actively involved in consultation on the new measures. He also mentioned the Employer Reform Group may overlap with the E&C in its responsibilities as it was looking at small business and how the industry will cope with changes to super.
