SFWG minutes, June 2011

1. Opening

Scott Hooper (Assistant Commissioner, Client Account Services) opened the meeting welcoming all in attendance.

New and guest attendees from the ATO were welcomed:

• Jaye Taubman
• John George
• Beverley Easton, and
• Sheona Ceccato.

In addition to the normal updates provided in this forum, Scott advised the following items:

• A brief budget 2011 update to be provided by Jaye Taubman.
• To ensure that the forum continues to meet the needs of the members and the broader superannuation community, we will be seeking feedback from forum members about the type of irritants the current system is causing and how the ATO is addressing them
• Thirdly input will be sought regarding educational programs in the second half of the year.
• The draft minutes from the meeting held Wednesday, 1 March 2010 were endorsed as distributed on Monday 23 May without change.
