Justification for establishment

The SCC was established to facilitate consultation, collaboration and co-design in the administration of superannuation. The forum provides an opportunity for all parties to identify, discuss and jointly resolve significant issues in the administration of superannuation.

The SCC was established in September 2005 and held its first meeting on 22 September 2005. The forum meets four times a year and runs phone hook-ups or workshops on particular topics as the need arises.
