Lost members register (LMR) protocol document updated

In line with our increased focus on reuniting people with their super, we've updated the LMR protocol document, which assists super providers and suppliers to meet their reporting obligations for lost members.

The revised document includes:

• details on recent changes, such as reporting small and insoluble lost member accounts as 'unclaimed super' rather than 'lost super'
• explanations of what is 'reasonable effort' when you are attempting to contact members (and a 'strict versus practical application of rules' section)
• more details to assist you in reporting for members for whom you have previously reported
• more information on penalties
• new examples for reporting members as found or as transferred.
