Legal research

Legal research is an interactive eLearning module that provides an introduction to legal research methodology. The module contains an overview of the legal research process and information to help you develop an effective legal research strategy.

If you are new to eLearning you should start by accessing Introduction to eLearning which explains the operation and navigation of eLearning modules. It is also recommended that you complete How to research before attempting this module.

You also need to be familiar with the accessibility and system requirements outlined below.

How to start

To start the Legal research eLearning module:

• download the client file (RTF 136 KB) and save it on your computer. Open the file before proceeding with the next step, and
• open the Legal research eLearning module.

System requirements

eLearning uses Adobe Flash Player® (Version 8 or higher) and Adobe Reader® (Version 8 or higher). These are free downloads available from Adobe.
