3. Overview of the preparation for administering the new resource tax arrangements and how the sub-committee will work

The project intent, ATO design principles and the six streams of work for the project were outlined by the chair. Over time, it is expected that the sub-committee will have involvement in all aspects of the ATO's implementation of the new resource rent tax arrangements, extending beyond royal assent of the legislation.
