• Reinventing the ATO

    We want to give you the best possible experience of the tax and super systems, so we're changing the way we work.

    Our vision is to be a contemporary, service-oriented organisation. To achieve this we are transforming our services and the way we deal with you.

    Our starting point was to ask people how they use the tax and super systems, and what they want. They said we should fix the basics, provide certainty, tailor services to their needs and help them navigate the system.

    From this consultation we created a blueprint for change, which provides a clear line of sight to want we want to achieve as we reinvent the ATO through new or improved products and services.

    Some improvements from the blueprint have already been delivered and we're working to deliver more in the years ahead. You can find out what's already been done for:

    Throughout our reinvention program we'll continue to check with the community that we're on track. The measure of our success will be client satisfaction and community participation in the tax and super systems.
