    If you’re having trouble paying your business' tax or superannuation obligations, let us know as soon as possible so we can work with you to find a solution.

    We may be able to offer you a payment plan tailored to your needs by taking into consideration your circumstances, and your lodgment and payment history.

    Tools and services

    We have tools and services available to support you, help you stay on track and meet your obligations. If your debt is $100,000 or less, you can propose a payment plan:

    • online through the Business Portal
    • through your registered tax agent or BAS agent
    • by phoning our automated phone service on 13 72 26.

    If your business has staff or clients struggling to meet their obligations, these tools and resources are available to them through our individuals online services.

    Contact your tax agent

    Your tax agent may be able to help by opting you in to receive text message or email reminders for new and existing payment plan instalments. This will remind you to:

    • pay on time
    • make sure you have enough funds in your account for your direct debit.


    You can make pre-payments at any time and as often as you like, in large or small amounts, to make it easier for you. You don't need to wait for a bill from us.
