  • Preparing for additional cash flow boosts

If you received initial cash flow boosts, you'll automatically receive additional cash flow boosts when you lodge your activity statements for each monthly or quarterly period from June to September 2020.

The additional amount will be equal to the total amount of initial cash flow boosts you received. The amount will be split evenly between your lodged activity statements. If you lodge:

    • quarterly, you'll receive 50% of your total initial cash flow boost for each activity statement
    • monthly, you'll receive 25% of your total initial cash flow boost for each activity statement.

If you revised your activity statements after lodgment, it may affect the amount of cash flow boost you were due to receive. You can check your statement of account for details on how your account may have been adjusted.

When you lodge your June 2020 activity statement, you may receive the last part of your initial cash flow boost and the first additional boost as a credit. See our website for examples.

If you haven't made payments to employees subject to withholding, report '0' for pay as you go (PAYG) withholding when lodging your activity statement to ensure you receive the additional cash flow boost. It's important you don't cancel your PAYG withholding registration until you've received the additional cash flow boosts.

If you didn't automatically receive the boost, it doesn't mean you're not eligible. We may simply need some additional information to determine your eligibility. See our Eligibility companion guide, which provides an overview on how we do this.
