• Help and support

You can get help with your record-keeping systems from us, free of charge. We run small business webinars, seminars and workshops and provide free advice. Community organisations, councils or state government offices also provide free advice.

Our small business webinars, seminars and workshops cover a range of topics, including GST, PAYG, activity statements and record keeping. Among other things, we can direct you to sample documents and how-to information that will help you set up and run your invoicing and records systems.

If you would like personalised, specialist assistance or if you are new to business, you can phone us on 13 28 66 between 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays.

Other service providers can also assist small business operators. Some of these services are free but others are not. For example, you can get help from state or local government business development offices, community small business advisory services and business incubators such as business enterprise centres.

The business entry point at business.gov.au offers convenient access to government information, transactions and services. It is a whole-of-government service providing essential information on planning, starting and running your business.
