  • How to access the SBSCH in the Business Portal

    This guide will help you access the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) in the Business Portal.

    Step 1: Get a secure online credential

    You will need a secure online credential such as myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).

    You can also use your existing AUSkeyExternal Link or Manage ABN Connections link. However, these services will retire at the end of March 2020.

    Prepare for the move to myGovID and RAM by ensuring your ABN details are up to date in the Australian Business RegisterExternal Link (ABR).

    Step 2: Log in to the Business Portal

    Log in to the Business Portal using your secure online credential. You can either:

    Step 3: Access the SBSCH

    The SBSCH is located in the Manage Employees menu of the Business Portal. Find this on the left hand side menu.

    A new page displays that includes the link to the SBSCH. Click on this link to enter the SBSCH.

    You may need to check your settings under the Access Manager menu item if you cannot see the SBSCH in the Business Portal.

    Setting permissions for employees

    Access Manager allows you to manage employee access to your business tax and super information. Once you're logged in to the Business Portal:

    1. Click on the Access manager menu item.
    2. Use your secure online credential to log in to Access Manager.
    3. Under Access and permissions, select the name of the person you want to assign permissions for.
    4. Under the ATO Transactions section, next to Small Business Super Clearing House, make a selection to Lodge or View. Select Save.
