Tax Time 2019 Shareable Content Working Group key messages April 2020

The Tax Time 2019 Shareable Content Working Group met on 9 April 2020 to review and provide feedback on new ATO web content, an occupation poster and a fact sheet for the ATO website. The group also revised a previously reviewed fact sheet.

The products reviewed were:

Low and middle-income earner tax offset web content

The group was specifically asked if the information was clear to understand in the layout.

Lump sum payment in arrears fact sheet

The group was specifically asked to review the technical content. They were also asked to consider:

• practical examples to help break up the technical content.

The group provided feedback and advised that the variations lump sum payment interpretation was sufficient.

Gaming attendant occupation poster

The group was asked to consider if the positioning of the poster needed to be changed. The group provided feedback and suggested that the laundry expenses information needed to be reworded.

Revision - set the record straight - record keeping

This product has been reviewed by the group previously and feedback has been taken into consideration. The group agreed with the changes made.

This group will meet again on 7 May 2020. Papers for review will be sent a week prior to the meeting date.
