Tax Time 2019 Shareable Content Working Group key messages May 2020

The Tax Time 2019 Shareable Content Working Group met on 7 May 2020 to review and provide feedback on COVID-19 help products, and a revised product for the Tax Time Toolkits on the ATO website.

The products reviewed were:

COVID-19 help products

• working from home during COVID-19
• tax on employer payments
• varying your PAYG instalments.

The group was specifically asked to look at whether the COVID-19 products were clear enough or if further considerations and examples are required.

The group provided feedback on the wording and suggested that examples should be included.

Revision - car expenses poster

The group was specifically asked to revise and provide feedback on the wording of the product. The group provided feedback and agreed on required changes.

Final summary

This group will continue to meet again on 4 June 2020. Papers for review will be sent a week prior to the meeting date.
