    The Cyber Security Stakeholder Group meeting was held on 26 June 2019.

    Updates

    The May 2019 ATO impersonation scam intelligence report and the latest OAIC notifiable Data Breach scheme quarterly reportExternal Link were discussed.

    An update was presented to the membership group on the work being undertaken within the ATO to align to the Australian Signals Directorate's Top4/Essential8External Link.

    The ATO confirmed the realignment of policies with the information Security manual (ISM).External Link

    The ATO provided security assurance for the following ATO public releases: AusID (The AUSkey replacement capability), Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) and Tax Time.

    ACSC Update

    Work is currently underway to create advisory products for reference by small business and larger organisations. More information on the progress of these products is available at cyber.gov.auExternal Link

    The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) is currently seeking contribution from small business owners and operators via a survey to guide the development of these educational products. The survey is an opportunity to share cyber challenges and concerns so the ACSC can assist in managing risks and minimising harm to businesses, their staff and customers.
