    You can request priority processing for your individual and business clients by sending a Practice mail message in Online services for agents.

    Your Practice mail message must include:

    • topic: Refunds/remissions
    • subject: Financial hardship refunds
    • enquiry type: I am enquiring on behalf of client
    • search clients: enter tax file number (TFN), Australian business number (ABN) or name.

    Other information to include in the message:

    • your name
    • your daytime contact number
    • year of return or month/quarter of activity statement
    • refund amount (if known)
    • copies of evidence to support the application

    If we need more information, we aim to call you back within one business day.
