  • Information for tax and BAS agents

    You can request priority processing for your individual and business clients by sending a secure mail message in Online services for agents, or through the tax agent or BAS agent portals.

    Include the following information in your secure mail message:

    • topic: Refunds/remissions
    • tax file number (TFN) or Australian business number (ABN)
    • name
    • daytime contact number
    • year of return or month/quarter of business activity statement
    • refund amount (if known)
    • copies of evidence to support application.

    If we need more information, we aim to call you back within one business day.
