Pacific Australia Labour Mobility scheme

The government announced it will reduce the tax rate on certain income earned by foreign resident workers participating in the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility scheme from marginal rates starting at 32.5 per cent to a flat 15 per cent.

The proposed measure is intended to apply from 1 July 2022.
