    When you access our social media pages, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the social media platform you're using, as well as our guidelines. Posts made by users on our pages don't necessarily reflect ATO opinions or policy.

    To ensure our platforms remain welcoming and useful for the community, we reserve the right to remove inappropriate material and comments that don't comply with our guidelines. This includes comments that:

    • reveal the personal information of individual taxpayers
    • don't relate to our business operations
    • are abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking
    • are defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depict violence
    • are political in nature
    • use language that is hateful, or targets race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or political beliefs
    • are fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
    • are trolling or deliberately disrupting the discussion
    • are spam, including phishing or malware
    • are a violation of any intellectual property rights
    • are commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations
    • include link-baiting (i.e. embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own page or website).

    We reserve the right to block users who breach these guidelines.
