    Outage Alerts

    Attention

    Portals

    The Portals will be unavailable from Saturday 13 June 8.00pm EST until Sunday 14 June 8.00am EST for scheduled maintenance.

    The Portals will be unavailable from Friday 19 June 10.15pm EST until Monday 22 June 7.00am EST in preparation for Tax Time 2015.

    Electronic Lodgment Service (ELS) Melbourne and Waymouth gateways will be unavailable from Sunday 31 May 9.30am EST until Sunday May 31 3.00pm due to essential maintenance.

    Secondary gateways will remain available for lodgement.

    Electronic Lodgment Service (ELS) connectivity issues

    Windows 7 or 8 users may experience connection issues with ELS if you have installed the latest Microsoft patches.

    Microsoft are working on a resolution as a matter of priority and have advised they expect to have a solution within the next couple of weeks.

    If you are affected by this issue and receive the following error “Failed to initialize connection to subsystem”, contact our Technical Help Desk on 1300 139 373 for a workaround.

    SMS

    Tax practitioners who have a valid mobile number registered with us will receive SMS alerts when the portals are expected to be unavailable for an hour or more.

    Unplanned outage or system issues

    When unplanned outage or system issues occur, you will receive one of the following messages:

    • 'Portal under maintenance' - appears when attempting to login to the portal if there is a complete unexpected outage to the portal
    • 'System issues' - appears when the portal is available but experiencing a problem which may affect you
    • Error message - appears when an intermittent error occurs.

    Portal functionality

    The portals may still be available but specific portal functions may be unavailable due to overnight system upgrades at the following times.

    Online services for individuals

    Our Online services for individuals will be unavailable at the following times due to system maintenance:

    As a general guide maintenance is performed between the hours of 12.15am EST to 7am EST on Thursdays and 11.30pm EST to 4am EST Saturdays.

    These times may vary if additional maintenance is required.
