  • Lodging your TPAR

    Your Taxable payments annual report (TPAR) is due by 28 August each year. Penalties may apply for not lodging your annual report by the due date.

    You can lodge your TPAR online, or by paper.

    Your tax or BAS agent can lodge on your behalf.

    Lodging online

    If you have business software that offers TPAR, you can lodge online using:

    • the file transfer function in the ATO Business Portal
    • Standard Business Reporting (SBR) where you can lodge directly from the software

    Alternatively, you can use our TPAR online form. This is available in:

    • the ATO Business Portal
      • select Online forms from the menu, then Taxable payments annual report
      • you will need a secure credential such as myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) if you use the Business Portal
       
    • Online services for individuals and sole traders (myGov account) – select Tax, then Lodgments, then Taxable payments annual report.

    Lodging on paper

    To lodge on paper, you'll need to order the printed form Taxable payments annual report (NAT 74109), and then complete and post it to us. You must use the forms we have posted to you. You cannot print your own or use photocopies.

    The form has space to report up to nine contractors. If you have more than nine contractors, you will need to order more than one form.
