Michael Cranston (ATO) welcomed Associate Professor Helen Anderson from the University of Melbourne Law School to the forum for a guest presentation on phoenix activity.

Associate Professor Anderson's presentation outlined a number of possible measures for regulatory agencies to consider preventing and deterring phoenix activity. Discussion centred on the value of suggested changes in process while balancing the ongoing need to reduce red tape and having sustainable positive effect on improper conduct of directors.
