• Rental expenses – supporting documents

    If you disagree with information contained in the letter from us about your rental expenses, we may ask you to provide the following types of supporting documents.

    Legal expenses

    • A copy of your records showing details of the legal expenses incurred. This includes an itemised list of the expenses claimed.
     

    Borrowing expenses

    • Bank or financial statements showing the date the loan was obtained, amounts of funds borrowed and source of the loan.
    • A copy of your records showing details of the expenses directly incurred in taking out a loan for the property. This includes an itemised list of the expenses claimed.
